The Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), has disowned an employment notice purportedly emanating from the agency, dismissing it as the “handiwork of a faceless and desperate employment racketeering cabal using the decoy of the poor state of unemployment in the society to fleece members of the public particularly the youths”.

In a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the state’s SUBEB, Chief Dele Akinnagbe advised unsuspecting members of the public, especially the youths “who are desirous of a legitimate and sustainable livelihood through genuine employment in the system to beware”.

Akinnagbe said that the Board would have ignored what he described as the “infantile activities of the unpatriotic elements in our midst but for the far reaching implications of their unscrupulous activities on the corporate image of the Board in particular and the state in general”.

The statement reads: “The attention of Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB, Akure, has drawn to an employment notice allegedly issued by the intervention Agency in the basic education sector in the State, inviting applications from qualified members of the public for vacant positions in the Board.
