2025 Hajj: Kano commences visa process for intending pilgrims

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has reaffirmed the Board’s readiness to facilitate the visa process for pilgrims in the state.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa made this statement shortly after a management meeting in his office.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u added that the visa process has officially kick off 19 February 2025.

He called on all Directors of the Board to be fully aware that the pilgrims’ grouping system will continue as in previous years.

In a Press statement by Sulaiman A. Dederi Public Relations Officer of the Board.

On his part, the Director of Hajj Operations, Alhaji Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, urged those who have not yet submitted their international passports to do so immediately, as visa processing has already commenced.

Alhaji Muhammad Ghali added that the Board will collaborate with Local Government Hajj Center Officers to ensure that the pilgrims’ grouping aligns with the instructions of the Saudi Arabian authorities.

The Board has completed all necessary arrangements to ensure that no intending pilgrim is left behind.
