The League Management Company (LMC) and Bitnob, a leading financial technology company, have entered into sponsorship agreement on the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
LMC Chairman, Shehu Dikko said the two parties would meet on Tuesday 17th May at Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos to officially unveil the partnership and make important details of the relationship public.
He said that negotiation for the partnership was painstaking to ensure that both parties would have a mutually beneficial alliance to project the Fintech brand through the domestic league.
Bitnob, a company that provides payments solutions for individuals and businesses, will be an Elite Sponsor in the Financial Technology category.
Last month, the NPFL entered into a sponsorship partnership agreement with leading telecommunications company, MTN Nigeria and LaLiga, the men’s top professional football division of the Spanish football league system, to support the development of grassroots football in Nigeria.
The partnership is already boosting the NPFL/LaLiga U-15 Youth League. The 2022 edition of this competition was won midweek by Remo Stars which beat Shooting Stars in the final.
