The Jos edition of The Hack will be a two-day event, featuring a seminar and an exhibition, and will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday next week at Mees Palace Event Centre, Rayfield Resort Road, Jos at 9:00 am on each day.

According to the brand, the seminar will be facilitated by business expert, Tricia Olufemi-Olumide (TriciaBiz) who will share business ideas with participants and groom them to scale their businesses.

On the forthcoming event, the Director of Marketing Communicationsat 9mobile, Saidat Lawal-Mohammed said that the positive feedback from participants from the previous editions has encouraged the brand to take The Hack to other cities, including Jos.

“Jos represents a special place in Nigeria, and it is bustling with a lot of SMEs and creative minds. We began The Hack in Lagos last year and we have since been to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano, and University of Ilorin, where we held the first campus Hack. Jos has the unique opportunity to not only get specialized nuggets on how to upskill their business, but we are also providing them a window to exhibit their products at no cost to them as we see this as a practical way for them to showcase their business”, she said.

According to research on SMEs in Nigeria by PWC, they contribute about 48per cent of the national GDP and account for 96 per cent of businesses, and 84 per cent of employment.

The Hack by 9mobile focuses on the endless opportunities in the SME sector, while addressing particular problems that business owners confront. The workshop will assist business owners in expanding their enterprises and overcoming obstacles.

The Hack is open to all network subscribers with a registered business with the Corporate Affairs Commission and are between 18 and 45 years old. Interested participants can register at https://9mobile.com.ng/the-hack-seminar/.
