A governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Senator Mudashiru Husain has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state and beyond on the epochal celebration of the Eid-Kabir festival.

The former lawmaker used the occasion to reiterate his commitment to bringing good governance to the people of the state through the 2026 governorship election.
Husain, who had represented Osun West senatorial district and served as an NPC commissioner in the National Population Commission, noted that the period of Eid-Kabir embodies core values rooted in spiritual reflection, compassion, and sacrifice.
He urged that these principles should serve as the foundation for interpersonal relationships and societal engagement.
In a congratulatory statement released to journalists on Thursday, Senator Husain reaffirmed his dedication to public service and his vision for the state.
He said: ‘I extend my warmest greetings to all Muslim faithful in Osun and beyond on the historic celebration of Eid Kabir being an epochal period of spiritual reflection, gratitude and love sharing.
‘Since the festival is the commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim’s unflinching obedience to Allah’s command, I therefore urge everyone to imbibe the core values of spiritual reflection, love, compassion and sacrifice which the joyous occasion represent in both spiritual and social engagements’.
The governorship aspirant pledged his unwavering commitment to championing the struggles for bringing good governance to the people of the state.
‘As a leading governorship aspirant in Osun State, I still use the opportunity of this spiritual uplifting and celebration, to offer myself to service of the people as an harbinger of ease, hope and good governance in Osun, while envisioning a state where everyone has equal access to democratic dividends – healthcare, education, social empowerment and prosperity’, he assured.
He prayed that the renewed hope and determination to build a vibrant state where the well-being of its citizens would be paramount.
