The Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC), Comrade Auwal Musa Rafsanjani, has called on Nigerians to sustain the values of discipline, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal imbibed during the Ramadan fast.
In his Eid-el-Fitr goodwill message on Saturday, Rafsanjani urged fellow citizens to allow the lessons of the holy month to guide their actions in promoting peace, empathy, accountability, and collective responsibility in society.
‘As we mark the end of Ramadan, we reflect on a month of sacrifice, discipline, and spiritual growth. May the spirit of Eid guide us to uphold these values, promoting peace, empathy, accountability, and collective responsibility’, he said.
Rafsanjani stressed the need for Nigerians to strengthen their resolve towards building a just, inclusive, and compassionate society. He noted that the country’s progress depends on citizens’ commitment to transparency, social justice, and active participation in governance.
The civil society leader further wished Muslims across the country a peaceful and joyful Eid celebration. ‘Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration’, he added.
