Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has copied his wife Jarvis’ new hairstyle in a show of support after she faced criticism and mockery from some Nigerians over her decision to cut her hair.
Peller shared a video of himself at a barbershop, explaining that he wanted to surprise his wife by getting the same hairstyle following the reactions to her new look.
“So guys, I want to barb my hair to surprise my wife because she also barb her hair. Everybody is saying things, they are talking a lot about her. All the Nigerians, una dey whine my baby,” he said.
The content creator appeared pleased with the result as the barber worked on his hair, later admiring his new look.
“Walahi, I still fine, take am, barb am,” Peller said.
He subsequently went to show Jarvis his new hairstyle, but she initially refused to respond to him.
“Report yourself, you did not check up on me,” Jarvis told him.
After Peller persuaded her to look at him, Jarvis eventually saw the hairstyle and appeared surprised and momentarily speechless.
Peller also used the moment to reaffirm his affection for his wife, telling her, “My wife, I love you.”
