A High Court of Lagos State has issued an interim order restraining Nollywood actress and businesswoman Elizabeth Ibukun Anjorin Lawal, popularly known as Lizzy Anjorin, from publishing or sharing photographs of actress Priscilla Ojo’s son, Rakeem Mkambala.
The order was made by Justice Yetunde Adesola Adesanya of the Lagos Judicial Division on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026.
The suit was instituted by Priscilla Ojo, her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son against Anjorin.
Under the interim order, Anjorin, her agents, representatives, employees and any other persons acting on her behalf are prohibited from posting, uploading, sharing, publishing or broadcasting images of Rakeem on their social media platforms.
The platforms specifically identified by the court include Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok. A number of social media accounts associated with Anjorin and her businesses were also listed in the order.
The court further directed Anjorin to refrain from publishing or circulating editorials concerning Ojo, her husband and their son through the specified accounts.
The restrictions are to remain in force pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice filed by the applicants.
Counsel for Ojo, her husband and their son, O. I. Salami, informed the court that the applicants had filed an application dated August 26, 2026.
Following its consideration of the application, Justice Adesanya granted the orders sought and directed Anjorin to cease sharing photographs of Rakeem or publishing and broadcasting editorials concerning the applicants through the accounts identified in the order.
The judge, however, directed that the case file be returned to the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State for reassignment to the appropriate division.
The order was issued and sealed on September 2, 2026, by Omokhudu-Umahoin Onivenu, a Legal Registrar.
The ruling is an interim measure and does not amount to a final determination of the dispute. The restrictions will remain in effect until the court hears and determines the substantive application brought by Ojo, her husband and their son.
