The Chairman of Fufore Local Government Area in Adamawa State, Yahya Saidu, has died, barely 18 months after his predecessor, Shuaibu Babas, passed away while serving in the same position.
The death of Saidu was confirmed on Saturday by Aliyu Wakili, a member of the House of Representatives representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency, in a condolence message shared on Facebook.
Wakili described the chairman’s death as a major loss to the people of Fufore and Adamawa State.
He prayed to Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him eternal rest.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and grant his family, friends, associates, and the entire people of Fufore the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss,” Wakili stated.
The circumstances surrounding Saidu’s death were not disclosed in the condolence message.
