Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has opened up about his extramarital relationships, claiming that his wife was aware of some of his romantic involvements with female colleagues in the entertainment industry.
The actor made the revelation during an appearance on the Africanalist Podcast, where he recounted how some of the actresses he was involved with eventually became friends with his wife.
According to Quadri, some of the women would approach his wife and tell her about his alleged relationships with other actresses, only for her to reveal that she already knew about them.
“It got to a stage where I won’t mention the ladies’ names in the industry. They would become friends with my wife and start giving gossip to my wife that I am dating so, so, so in the industry,” he said.
Quadri further disclosed that some of the actresses he dated became jealous despite his wife’s alleged awareness of the relationships.
“And there were some of them that we were dating who went home out of jealousy. Meanwhile, my wife would say she was aware already, and she doesn’t fight them because of that,” he added.
The veteran actor also claimed that some of the actresses occasionally spent the night at his home when film productions ended late.
He said his wife was aware of the relationships and would still accommodate and feed the actresses when they stayed over.
“Sometimes when production ends late, they would sleep in my house. And that my wife is aware I am dating them, she would still feed them and everything,” Quadri stated.
His revelations have generated discussions about his marriage and relationships, with some social media users criticising his account of the alleged affairs.
