Following the appointment, Shadrach, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vet Konect Ltd., has launched a social media campaign tagged “Your Vote | Your Voice | Our Future” to mobilise Nigerians at home and abroad to commit to participating in the next general elections.
The campaign will feature a 60-second video challenge, inviting participants to record brief messages declaring their intention to exercise their voting rights and support peaceful electoral participation.
Targeting young Nigerians across the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and the diaspora, the initiative also seeks to deepen political awareness, promote respect for democratic institutions and discourage electoral violence.
Shadrach’s appointment comes as the NOA intensifies efforts to promote national identity, citizenship responsibilities and shared values among Nigerians.
In his new role, he is expected to leverage his professional experience, networks and youth-focused engagements to support the agency’s public orientation activities.
Through Vet Konect, Shadrach and his team are collaborating with the agency, under the leadership of its Director-General, Lanre Issa-Onilu, to advance the National Values Charter, National Identity Project and other public enlightenment programmes.
Describing the appointment as both an honour and a responsibility, Shadrach pledged to work towards extending the agency’s message to more communities, with particular emphasis on young Nigerians.
His professional background spans veterinary medicine, livestock development and entrepreneurship. He has also participated in initiatives focused on expanding opportunities for young people and promoting Nigeria’s image internationally.
As part of efforts to broaden the campaign’s reach, he called on youth organisations, student associations, entrepreneurs, professionals, civil society groups and Nigerians living abroad to take part in the 60-second video challenge.
The initiative is expected to provide a platform for citizens, particularly young people, to express their commitment to democratic participation and peaceful elections as the country prepares for the 2027 polls.
