LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a strong-hold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon, and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. Ab initio, there was only one power the True Lord God Almighty gave to the human race: spiritual power. The Creator was aarboreal, the Sovereign Lord God Almighty of the heavens, while the human race was to be the god of the four dimensions of the universe namely: the arboreal life, the marine world, the wildlife/animal, and the ecosystem. No wonder, He referred to human beings as gods thus: “I have said, Ye are gods; And all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men and fall like one of the princes” (Psalm 82:6 & 7; See also John 10:34). That was prior to the fall of Adam as a result of disobedience. Consequent upon the fall of Adam, who was the representative of the human race that was invested with power, honor and glory by the Creator Himself, Satan, the archenemy of God and the human race seized or hijacked the power that the True Lord God Almighty gave to the human race through Adam and Eve. Satan disclosed this during his temptation of our Lord Jesus Christ: “Then the devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. “I will give You authority over all these kingdoms and all their glory,” he said. “For it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish. So, if You worship me, it will all be Yours” (Luke 4:5-7). Do you see how Satan half-lied here? Adam did not relinquish the power to Satan; rather, the Devil stole it. This was how Satan became the prince of this world as our Lord Jesus Christ disclosed in John 14:30: “I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me” (hence) “Jesus replied: My Kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36) (because) “We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one” (I John 5:19).
The power that Satan stole from our First Parents was devoid of authority. As we have explained legionary times in this column, power is the ability to enforce a will, while authority is the legal instrument needed to exercise power. The True Lord God Almighty gave both power and authority to Adam, but when the latter sinned, Satan stole the power but lacked spiritual authority. Somehow, Satan had to figure out how to exercise this stolen power, thus he and his fallen angels proceeded to introduce six other types of powers namely: supernatural power, political power, financial power, feminine power, intellectual power, and physical power. All human beings, without exception, crave for one or more of these six domains of Satanic power in the Journey of Life. But the most potent of all these powers is the spiritual power from the Sovereign Lord God Almighty full of untrammeled twin de jure and de facto power and supported with authority. Satan and his demons bamboozle and hoodwink majority of human beings with supernatural power which supervises the remaining earthly powers invented by the Evil One. But for those of us imbued with spiritual power from On High, we tower above them all, Hallelujah! No wonder, the likes of Aina Rachel Fayemiwo, T.B. Joshua and their ilk, witches and wizards and the occult who dare to toy with the spiritual powers of the Most High fall and begone as the Supreme and Sovereign Power of all; Jesus Christ, is our Boss. So, here is the orders of all powers in heaven and on earth thus: Spiritual, Supernatural, Political, Financial, Feminine, Intellectual, and finally, Physical Power.
Political Power is next to Supernatural Power because it determines access to and allocation of resources; consequently, anyone who holds political power determines access to financial power. No wonder, Mr. Aliko Dangote once said he is passionately interested in who rules Nigeria because he doesn’t want Nigeria to become another Zimbabwe. No matter how Intellectually Powerful you are, the one holding Political Power can hound you out of space. Ask Prof Wole Soyinka what Sani Abacha, a military cretin and dunderhead was planning to do with him and his fellow eggheads and writers during the reign of the foremost Madman of Nigeria. We saw the kakistocracy that enveloped a benighted Nigeria of the 80’s and 90s under military gangsters exercising Physical Power. If you dismissed Feminine Power as effete, reflect on how Sani Abacha’s death was outsourced to Indian trollops. Or how the late Maryam pushed her husband Ibrahim Babangida to overthrow Muhammadu Buhari in summer 1985. So, men may rule the world, but women rule the men who rule the world!
This brings us to the forthcoming American Presidential Election in November 2024. It is dangerous for anyone, including born-again Christians to be airy about politics and those who administer policies in our nations. Satan plants his heralds in political positions to further demonic agendas and policies that would not only impede the spread of the Gospel but abbreviate precious lives. When you are blasé about politics, you will be ruled by your inferiors. This year is a decisive moment for the United States of America, both domestically and globally. The hackneyed phrase that the 2024 Presidential Election is the most important of our lifetime assumes a deeper and existential dimension in our nation. The threat to the American Ideal is coming from within and this should keep us all on the edge. All and virtually everything are at stake.

The atavistic chicaneries of Trump’s 2020 are back in full vengeance. And his solipsism is over the top and we Americans have heard it from his mouth. At his first outing, Mr. Trump was ” I am your Huckleberry ” to the MAGA crowd, but in his forthcoming loss, he has morphed into; ” I am your retribution.” This blasphemy should have been condemned by genuine and true born-again Christians for only our Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ is our Retribution as Romans 12:17-21 made it abundantly clear: “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”] says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head”.
The codology from the twice impeached president isn’t new, but its recrudescence nearly four years after he lost to the incumbent by more than seven million votes defy any political punditry. The MAGA voters are shrinking, so the Republican tent. Mr. Trump’s bafflegab bordering on senility is adding to his political cum legal woes. I lived almost all of my adult life under a swath of military dictatorships until we said it was enough in the 1990s in the land of my birth. I didn’t leave my ancestral home to exchange it for another dictator in the United States and so preventing Trump from returning to the White House next fall is personal. Just as we fasted, prayed, and kept night vigils entreating the Lord Jesus Christ to prevent this racist from wining the White House four years ago, we will fast as we have never, prayed as never before and cry unto the Most High God again this year to get rid of this man and there are millions of us in this land. Consequently, Mr. Donald Trump will not and never return to the White House in the forthcoming Presidential Election. The incumbent, President Joseph Biden will win the November 2024 U.S. Presidential Election for his second and final term in accordance with our 2020 prophecies in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
