The event, held at Luchia Hotel in Kaduna, was organised to commemorate the 64th birthday of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

In her remarks, Tejuosho emphasised the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and promoting social equity.

She added that the scholarship awards, targeted at people living with disabilities (PLWDs) and out-of-school children, highlight the foundation’s dedication to bridging the educational gap in Nigeria.

Tejuosho stressed that the first lady is a mother indeed whose impact across the globe is worth celebrating at birth anniversary.

She said, “today, we celebrate a woman of exceptional virtue, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whose life is a testament to selflessness, compassion, and dedication to the betterment of society.

“As we mark this milestone birthday, we honor Senator Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to empowering women, children, and the vulnerable, inspiring countless individuals through her philanthropic work.

“We are proud to support the educational pursuits of these deserving individuals. Our scholarship program aims to provide opportunities for those who would otherwise be denied access to quality education.”

Beneficiaries of the scholarship awards also expressed gratitude to the QAT Foundation, praising the initiative as a lifeline to their educational aspirations.
