America, their America!

I am getting old. Too old too fast. The incurable optimist in me thought America had had enough of the Donald Trump drama.

Waking up every day to a reality show of a White House, a president bent on beating the television ratings rather than focusing on the needs of the country.

I remember the coronavirus days. Seeing millions dead, waiting for death to come through the contagious pandemic. I am a nurse. I was every day in the line of fire. I saw residents that I love take their last breath. After a while I got used to death. It became just an occupational hazard.

I saw a country where the colour of my skin suddenly became obvious; my accent loudly horrible. I could not enjoy watching television without the anxiety of what will happen. What next terrible statement will the president make? How will it impact my life, or the lives of my children in a bad way.

Do not blame Kamala Harris. She ran a near perfect presidential race. One hundred days. One hundred celebrities. Over one billion dollars spent. A good debate performance; all became a snowball chance in Hell, in a country that was founded by bandits.

She proved to the world that you can be in politics and be decent. But America does not want a decent president. They want someone of their own colour; just anyone will do, as long as you are white. This is the result of democracy. The voice of the people the voice of God; even if the elected reminds you of the Devil.

Trump is America as America can be; the white privileged. When you are white, you can and will get away with murder. Grab them by the pussy and nothing will come out of it. Another four years of this!!! Another four years of Donald J. Trump is what the people wanted. And that is what they are going to get.

God bless America. God save us all.
