A member of the National Assembly from Zamfara State, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji has urged Muslim faithfuls in the state and the country at large to unite themselves and devote their time on the virtues of love, peace, tolerance and total commitments to peaceful coexistence at all times.
Dr. Jaji, who is representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said that national unity and love to one another should be put in the minds of Nigerians for the country to prosper.
In a statement, the lawmaker’s spokesperson, Jamilu iliyasu Birnin Magaji said: ‘The federal lawmaker who is also the chairman House Committee on Ecological Funds, maintained that the country needs prayers he call on Pilgrims for offer prayers for peacefully coexistence in Zamfara State and in the country as a whole.
He urged his constituents, the people of the state and Nigerians as a whole that, as Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid-el-kabir there is the need for them to imbibe the habit of sacrifice and forbearance.
The lawmaker explained that the lessons attached to this noble and sacred festivity includes love to one another, being brothers keepers, and strong faith in Allah, and follow the teachings of the noble Prophet Muhammed Peace.
Jaji prayed Almighty Allah to accept the faithfuls’ ibadat during the sacred period and beyond.
The federal lawmaker also felicitated with the President Bola Tinubu and leaders at all levels on this special occasion of the Sallah celebration.
