Former Arsenal and Chelsea playmaker, Cesc Fabregas has been confirmed as the manager of Serie B side Como.
Fabregas has been handed the role on an interim basis after the club parted ways with Moreno Longo on Monday.
The Spaniard, who has managed the club’s B and youth teams, has been promoted until the club finds a suitable replacement for Longo.
Fabregas only announced his retirement from football in the summer.
Before he hung up his boots, the 36-year-old played for Como in the 2022/23 season as they finished 13th in Serie B.
Upon retirement, Fabregas decided to take up coaching duties on the Italian side.
