Ganduje replaces Consumer Protection Council’s head

Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje has approved the appointment of Baffa Babba Dan-Agundi as Acting Managing Director of Kano State Consumer Protection Council (KSCPC).

In a statement issued on Monday in Kano by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Abba Anwar.

He said that the appointment was with immediate effect, pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director.

“As Acting MD, he will look into all corners of the commission, both operational and others, with the view to putting things in good shape, before a substantive Managing Director is appointed”, he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Dan-Agundi is the Managing Director of the Kano Road Transport Agency.

NAN reports that the council’s Mangaing Director, General Idris Bello Dambazau (rtd.) resigned his appointment voluntarily.
