The leading global cryptocurrency exchange has officially unveiled its Africa-centric Global Ambassador Programme, designed to nurture grassroots Web3 communities in major cities such as Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, and Cape Town.

With Africa rapidly emerging as a key frontier in global crypto adoption, MEXC’s initiative targets 50 dynamic individuals—including influencers, educators, analysts, and student leaders—to become ambassadors who will build local communities, host events, educate new users, and promote MEXC’s services.

Ambassadors will benefit from a performance-based rewards system, including, up to 50% commissions on referrals, fixed monthly stipends based on results, campaign and airdrop budgets, design and operational support, early access to MEXC products, and token allocations and branded merchandise

The programme is structured into four tiers, based on trading volume and local impact, with a collective goal of generating $100 million in monthly volume.

Applicants are expected to be active within the Web3 ecosystem and have influence across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).

The exchange is especially seeking bilingual voices in English, French, Swahili, Hausa, and Pidgin.

According to MEXC, this ambassador model is custom-built for Africa, going beyond traditional influencer programmes by offering real support, measurable metrics, and income scalability—meeting rising demand for trusted crypto education and infrastructure.

Grace N., a prominent crypto KOL in Kenya, echoed that view: “The programme provided everything I needed to succeed — campaign materials, performance bonuses, and token incentives.”
