As the second edition of Ngwa Day, which holds on Sunday, 28 December 2025 at Ngwa High School, Aba, Abia State, approaches, the Media/Publicity subcommittee has evolved a 30-Day Content Calendar and concluded arrangements for publicity blitz on different digital platforms to precede the main event.

At a recent online meeting of the subcommittee, attended by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Dr. Chukwuma Offor, the Media/Publicity subcommittee Chairman, Mr. Ukaobisike Uzoije explained that the rationale behind the 30-day Content Calendar is to intensify publicity and generate enough awareness in the last 30 days leading to the event in social media and digital platforms.

According to him, streaming of the 30-day Content Calendar, which runs from 28 November to 28 December 2025, is particularly designed to engender excitement, engagement and awareness to elicit mass participation at the event.

The subcommittee Chairman stated that they have created a variety of innovative contents to engage the teeming social media audience and followers of Nde Ngwa, pointing out that the contents would also serve as sensitisation and reminder of the anticipated events, starting with the Rally on 26 December, the Symposium on 27 December  and the grand finale on 28 December.

Uzoije further said: ‘The contents will take the form of graphics, artworks, short videos and carousel — this is like a slideshow or a rotating display of images or contents’.

Chairperson of the Contact/Mobilisation subcommittee, Lady Vivian Irondi, whose subgroup is spearheading participation at the celebration, commended Uzoije and his ingenious team for developing the concept of a 30-day Content Calendar to further complement the efforts of her team.

She further said that the 30-day social media content calendar is a great step in the right direction. ‘The Contact/Mobilisation Subcommittee has so far done a great job. But we have not been able to reach all Ngwa persons across the globe. We are therefore elated and confident that the 30-day content calendar of the media and publicity hype will help collectively to achieve wider mobilisation towards a successful Ngwa Day 2025’.

Schedule of the content calendar released by the Media/Publicity Subcommittee shows that the online streaming begins 28 November 2025 with the theme: Countdown Begins — Just 30 Days to Ngwa Day 2025. Other themes include Ngwa Homeland – Meet the Seven LGAs that Make up Ngwa land, Flashback Friday — Memories of Ngwa Day 2024, Unity in Culture, Sponsor Spotlight #1, Traditional Fashion Highlight, Diaspora Day, Youth/Culture, Food Friday, and Meet the Organisers.
