The Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) will hold an interactive meeting with 20 clubs in the NPFL on Wednesday at the Sandralia Hotel in Abuja.
A circular to the clubs, signed by NPFL’s Head of Operations, Davidson Owumi noted that the meeting is being convened to perfect earlier interactions with the clubs on the new season’s roadmap.
The memo reads: “Sequel to our previous meeting and the need to finalise our conclusions, the IMC of the NPFL wishes to invite the 20 NPFL clubs to an interactive meeting that will finalise the way forward for a smooth running of the 2022/23 season”.
Last month, the two bodies agreed to have a final session to perfect modalities for the start of the season.
No date has been fixed for a new season five months after the 2021/22 NPFL season ended on 17th July with Rivers United winning the title for the first time.
