The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has adjourned the hearing on the petitions filed by the Labour Party to Wednesday, 17th May 2023.

A spokesperson for the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo, who appeared in court as one of the legal representatives of the party, said on Wednesday that the court adjourned after a brief hearing of petitions.

He wrote: “After a brief hearing of the matter, the court adjourned to Wednesday, 17th May 2023, for a continuation of hearing…I will keep you posted. We believe in God for a positive outcome with your supplications to God”.

The Justice Haruna Tsammani-led five-member panel had its inaugural sitting on Monday and a continuation of the pre-hearing trial on Wednesday.
