In a pragmatic move to deepen sports development through the media, a major sports promotion brand, Sportspro News has struck a partnership with Gerin FM.
The Publisher of Sportspro News, Bayour Issah described the deal as a watershed that would raise the bar of sports development.
The seasoned sports caster said: “The partnership is going to redefine some of the basis of sports reportage with a broad focus on the grassroots and international scene”.
He said the move has also opened a new schedule for the return of the long standing ‘Sports No 1’ radio show, which would be aired every Sunday from 9 t0 10 am him as the main anchor.
As part of the new deal, Yemi Sodeeq and Tosh Michael would start their “transfer medical” with Sports Connect and Sports Express from Monday to Saturday.
The “Dean of the Sports faculty”, as he is fondly called, urged listeners to tune in to 95.5 FM and experience the juicy sports packages, courtesy of Sportspro News.
The General Manager of the station, Barrister Mahmud Abdulraheem expressed excitement about the development which he said is key to its motto of communicating for harmony and grassroots development.
Gerin 95.5 FM is one of the fastest growing radio station in Ilorin metropolis.
