Peter Obi is guilty by association. He is Igbo. So we must hang him until the life leaves his miserable useless body. It is a crime to be Igbo in Nigeria.

The Oba of Lagos wants them to go jump into the lagoon. The daughter of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu sees them as an ungrateful lot; a people who should be kissing his father’s aging feet for allowing them to stay in Lagos State. The only place in the world where they can thrive and make money. Now Sam Omatseye has written a stinker.

The audacity of Peter Obi to present himself for the Presidency of Nigeria. He cannot do that according to the gospel of Sam Omatseye. He is Igbo. The Igbo cannot aspire to rule Nigeria.

The audacity of a tribe with the albatross of Biafra, trying to plunge us into another civil war. There is also the threat of Nnamdi Kanu. So we should keep our eyes on the Igbo people. They are dangerous people. We should treat them like the pariahs that they are. Peter Obi is Igbo. That is his crime.

Sunday Igboho suddenly comes to mind. Yoruba nation and the agitation and clamour for it comes to mind. It is okay for the Yoruba people to want out of Nigeria. But wrong for the Igbo people. It is okay for the Yoruba people to look up to Sunday Igboho. But Nnamdi Kanu is Lucifer.

I remember a certain Yoruba candidate saying boldly, Emi lokan (it’s my turn)! And the Yoruba people chanting Yoruba lokan!!!…It is the turn of the Yorubas. I have not heard that from Peter Obi. I have not heard that from the Igbo people. But the Yoruba can openly beat their chests and demand that it is their turn, turn it into a hip hop music and dance to it. But the Igbo people dare not.

We are here celebrating Sam Omatseye for the satanic verse of an article. We are glorifying the division he is trying to further expand. We have never been a united nation. The Igbo have never been happy in Nigeria. Now in Peter Obi they see hope. They see someone that understands what it is to be Igbo. And all is wrong with that. Is that not the same reason Yoruba people want Tinubu, a liar and a rogue in Aso Rock?

The country is polarised. We are a partisan people. Putting all the blame on Peter Obi will not solve our problems. Neither will it make it go away. We can pretend that the Igbo and Biafra are the reasons the Naira is now N700 to a US dollar. We know that is a blatant lie.

The Igbo are people too; in case we forgot.
