Award-winning filmmaker Paolo Taviani is dead
Italian filmmaker Paolo Taviani, whose gritty biopic “Padre Padrone” won the top Cannes Film Festival prize, has died aged 92, Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri said Thursday.
