Here, this silent revolution is democratic. Women, university teachers, university students, labour leaders, teachers, auto workers, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ), white dudes, black dudes, actors and actresses; indeed the broad strata of the American society are coming together to say no to their freedom to maintain all democratic norms associated with the greatest nation on the planet will not be tampered with and cannot be taken away by any human being, including a jerky Trump. In this land, an unhinged doofus will not install a dictatorship in the land of freedom and the home of the brave.
Harris is not running a presidential campaign to become the first woman president of the United States of America. This is not a campaign; this is a movement. A campaign is when voters are enlisted to vote for a candidate for sundry of reasons, but a movement is when voters are fed up with a politician or group of politicians because of the existential threats such politicians pose to the interests of the voters. Situated in historical contexts, when women are mobilized to protect their interests, youths are fighting for freedom to continue to independent thoughts, or being told what to read and their choice of love life is being threatened, a revolution begins.
Today, a broad section of Americans are not campaigning for their freedom, rather they are fighting to maintain their freedoms. This is what is currently happening in this year’s presidential election. Donald Trump and his fellow troglodytes in the Republican Party are 50 years behind. They are in denial of the silent revolution going on in today’s America and come Tuesday, 5 November 2024, they will be shell-shocked what hits them. Harris is the arrow head of this silent revolution sweeping the nation. All lovers of freedom must join this revolution train to save our motherland.
Harris is not running a campaign but a revolution. As the springboard of the current revolution in today’s America, she has become the anagnorisis of all the marginalized in this year’s presidential election.
This silently loud revolution ignited by Harris in this year’s presidential election should be energised by all Americans through the ballot box. She must win.
