‘Yaba Fitness Fair’ holds 21st October

Fitness+, a community-focused health and wellness gym, has announced plans to organise the biggest fitness fair in Yaba, Lagos State, tagged ‘Yaba Fitness Fair.’ It said that this event is dedicated to promoting health and wellness within the community.

Supported by 9mobile, Leadway Holdings, and Olorisupergal, the Yaba Fitness Fair holds on 21st October at Rowe Park, Yaba and it would give members of the community and its environs the opportunity to engage in fun, health-focused activities such as high-energy aerobics, dance, and other fitness challenges. There will also be raffle draws and a free medical check-up.

According to Chief Executive Officer of Fitness+, Lara Olowookere, “the main purpose of the event is to sensitise the community on the need to prioritise physical fitness and to also share tips on how residents can live healthier lives”.

Olowookere further said:“At Fitness+, we believe that fitness is a way of life and that coming to the gym isn’t just about building muscle mass or losing a few pounds; we believe that the gym is a place to invest in one’s overall wellbeing. It is a place for rejuvenation, reawakening, and mental stimulation”.

According to Corporate Services Head at Leadway Holdings, Niyi Abiola: “Leadway is passionate about achieving a healthier society by promoting health-conscious decisions and lifestyle. Partnering with Fitness + on the Yaba Fitness Fair provides an opportunity for us to further promote this passion and entrench a culture of healthy living amongst individuals.
