With 371 out of 731 delegate votes, former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in next year’s general elections.
Atiku defeated his closest rival and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike who garnered 237 votes.
