A car crash along Kidanda, Giwa Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State has claimed the lives of three policemen.
A source said that the accident occurred around 9 pm when the victims were returning to Giwa LGA after participating in the Eid-al-Fitri Hawan Dauche celebration in Zaria on Sunday.
The source said that at around Sako village, Kidanda ward, the tyres of the vehicle the victims were travelling in, developed a fault, resulting in the accident that led to the death of the three officers.
The accident, according to a witness, left three others with various degrees of injuries and they were taken to a hospital for medical attention.
The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent Mohammed Jalige prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and the quick recovery of those injured.
