Ahead of the Abuja Municipal Council election, an aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Jennifer Nnamudi Ozioma has paid a courtesy visit to the Hausa-Fulani community in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) to seek their backing in the upcoming election.

Ozioma expressed her gratitude to the group for their warm reception and highlighted her vision for the constituency, emphasising her commitment to key issues.

She took the opportunity to listen to the group’s concerns and answer questions, demonstrating her willingness to engage with the community.

She said: ‘I am honoured to have received such a warm welcome from the Hausa-Fulani community. I am committed to working tirelessly to address the concerns of this community and ensure that their voices are heard’.

The visit was seen as a significant step in her campaign, as the Hausa-Fulani community is a respected and influential group in AMAC. The group’s endorsement is expected to boost a candidate’s chances in the election.

In his response, the leader, Alhaji Sanusi Galadimawa said: ‘We are pleased to have hosted Hon. Jenifer and appreciate her willingness to engage with our community. We look forward to continuing our discussion and exploring ways to work together’.

The courtesy visit was attended by large members of the group and Hon Jenifer’s campaign team.
