Eid-el-Kabir: Group urges youths to embrace education, skills acquisition

As the Muslims around the world celebrate the sacred Eid-El-Kabir, the Director-General of the Youth Reformation and Leadership Skills Development Foundation, Dr. Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu has extend his warmest felicitations to Muslims around the world.

In a statement, the Foundation’s Director General, Comrade Awwal Abdullahi Aliyu said: ‘This joyous occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration with loved ones. As we commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, we are reminded of the importance of obedience, faith, and sacrifice.

‘As we celebrate this Eid-El-Kabir, he call on Muslims to intensify prayers for peace, unity, and stability in our country. May Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers, and may we return to our daily lives with renewed faith and vigor.

‘We must also pray for improvement and development in our country. May Allah guide our leaders and provide them with wisdom to make decisions that will benefit the nation.

‘Security is also a critical issue that requires our attention. We must pray for peace and security in our country, and work towards creating an environment that is conducive to growth and development.

‘As we celebrate this Eid-El-Kabir, l, urges the Federal Government to provide an enabling environment for industries to thrive. This will create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and improve the standard of living for Nigerians’.

Abdullahi urged the youths, to embrace education and skills acquisition as a means of livelihood. This, he said, would empower them to become self-reliant and contribute to the development of the country.

He further said: ‘Restiviness and agitation can be reduced if our youths are educated and empowered. Let us work towards creating opportunities for our youths to acquire skills and become productive members of society.

‘Our foundation is committed to working with government and other stakeholders to promote youth development and empowerment. We will continue to advocate for policies and programs that will benefit our youths and promote national development.

‘As we celebrate this Eid-El-Kabir, let us remember the importance of peacefully coexistence. We must work towards building a society that is harmonious and inclusive. Our country is blessed with diverse cultures and faiths, and we must learn to live together in peace and harmony.

‘We wish to express my gratitude to our partners and well-wishers who have supported our foundation’s work over the years. To our beneficiaries, I urge you to continue to work hard and make the most of the opportunities available to you.

‘As we celebrate this Eid-El-Kabir, let us pray for our country and our leaders. May Allah guide them and provide them with wisdom to make decisions that will benefit the nation. Let us also pray for our youths, that they may be empowered and equipped to become leaders of tomorrow.

‘We wish all Muslims a happy and blessed Eid-El-Kabir. May Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers, and may we return to our daily lives with renewed faith and vigour’.
