Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has confirmed her departure from Paris FC after five years at the French capital.

Nnadozie joined the French club from Nigeria Women’s Football League side River Angels in 2020 and capped her time at the club by helping them win the 2025 Coupe de France Féminine.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper was at the heart of Paris FC’s historic victory at Stade de l’Épopée in Calais, where she saved two penalties in a dramatic 5–4 shootout win against rivals PSG after a goalless draw in regulation time to hand the club their first major trophy in nearly two decades.

Her consistent performances and commanding presence between the posts earned her widespread acclaim, culminating in her being named Best Goalkeeper of the Arkema Première Ligue for the 2023-2024 season.

‘Been an honour to have been a part of this amazing team for the past five and half years. I will miss each and every one of you’, the keeper said in an X post.

‘Thank you for all the support and great memories. It’s hard to say goodbye to such a fantastic team. Keep achieving greatness’.

In an emotional statement, Paris FC expressed deep gratitude for Nnadozie’s dedication and legacy.

‘Arriving at Paris FC in 2020 from River Angels FC, Chiamaka immediately became an essential part of the team. Arkema’s best goalkeeper in 2023 — she is leaving Paris FC after a magnificent victory in the Coupe de France, where she was one of the main actresses.

‘Paris FC warmly thanks Chiamaka for all these five years that will forever leave an imprint in the history of the club. We wish her all the best for the next step of her career’.

Over the years, Nnadozie has grown into a key figure between the sticks, racking up 100 domestic league appearances, 44 clean sheets, and maintaining a 74.4 per cent save rate during her tenure.
