Sanwo-Olu to inaugurate 420 housing units in Badagry today

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will unveil a newly completed 420 housing units at Ajara Badagry today (Wednesday).

The unveiling of the new Lagos State Housing Estate, Ajara phase 1 at Badagry, is expected to further increase the stock of model housing units and cater for accommodation needs of over 2,000 individuals.

This was made known by the Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, during a media chat with reporters in his office on Tuesday.

The commissioner said the estate consists of 420 one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedrooms apartments.

Akinderu-Fatai noted that the aim is to provide affordable and quality housing in line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s campaign promise to complete all ongoing housing projects in the state.

‘The project is part of Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to completing all ongoing housing projects and ensuring more Lagos residents have access to quality and affordable homes’, he said.

He expressed excitement about the project’s completion, citing its potential impact on the community’s economy.

The commissioner thanked prospective subscribers for their patience and trust in the administration.

He also advised interested subscribers who have the intention to apply to visit the Estate Department of the ministry.
