Aminu Gwarzo has resigned his position as the deputy governor of Kano state.
Ibrahim Shuaibu, Gwarzo’s chief press secretary, confirmed the resignation to newsmen Friday evening.
Although no official reason has been given for the resignation, the development comes amid recent tensions between the deputy governor and the Kano State House of Assembly.
