Arsenal have broken a 22-year jinx by winning this season’s English Premier League title even without kicking the ball on Tuesday.
Bournemouth ensured that Manchester City would not be able to catch the north London side on the last Matchday of the season on Sunday by playing 1-1 at home on Tuesday against Manchester City.
With 82 points from 37 games, Arsenal maintain a four-point advantage over City going into the final Matchday of the season.
Arsenal have stayed on top of the table since Matchday 7 of the 38-game season.
They will now play a dead rubber fixture on Sunday, away to Crystal Palace, and also have a chance to break the UEFA Champions League voodoo if they beat France’s PSG in the final on 30 May.
