Dame Oreoluwa Kayode-Adedeji, the foster mother of the Founder of Penpushing Media, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, who died at 84 on 5 January, will be buried on 13 June 2026 in her hometown of Ilesa, Osun State.
The foster son had earlier affirmed her contributions to his developmental growth, saying that he would remain grateful to her even in death.
According to a week-long burial programme released by the family, the rites of passage will commence on Monday, 8 June 2026 with a tribute by the management of Omotayo Maternity at Oke Ado, Ibadan, starting from Noon.
On Wednesday, 10 June, Mama’s body will lie in state at Omotayo Maternity between 9 and 11 am, while the service of songs will hold at her residence located at Oni and Sons, Ibadan, between 4 and 6 pm
On Thursday, 11 June, a commendation service will hold at Oke Ado Methodist Church from 9 to 11 am, while there will be a town rally, lying in state at Ilare-Ijesa hometown and reception at her residence later in the day.
Christian wake-keep will hold on Friday, 12 June at Imo, Ilesa, between 4: and 6 pm
On Saturday, 13 June, a burial service will be held at the Methodist Church, Otapete, Ilesa. between 9 am and Noon, while reception will follow at Zenababs Event Centre at Zenabab Half Moon Resort, Ijebu-Jesa Road, Ilesa, Osun State from 1 pm.
