The Nigeria Police Force Airwing has congratulated its Drone Commander, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Omolere Adejoke, following her recognition with an international public service award in London for her leadership, innovation and contributions to policing.
Adejoke received the Award of Honour from the Global Leaders and Business Awards at a ceremony held in London on 30 May 2026.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Airwing Liaison Police Public Relations Officer, Ofem Osong, said the award recognises individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and excellence in public service.
According to Osong, the recognition reflects the Nigeria Police Force’s growing emphasis on technology-driven policing under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu.
He said Adejoke, as Force Drone Commander, has led intelligence-driven drone surveillance operations that have strengthened crime prevention and security management across the country.
Reacting to the award, Adejoke dedicated the honour to members of her team and other Airwing personnel.
“This award is not mine alone. It belongs to every member of my team whose commitment, professionalism and support have shaped this journey.
“It also belongs to every officer in the Airwing who continues to embrace innovation as we strengthen the Nigeria Police Force’s air capability.
“I am grateful to the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, for his leadership and for creating an environment that encourages innovation, professionalism and excellence in service.
“While I deeply appreciate this recognition, it also reminds me that there is still much work to be done. I remain committed to serving with integrity, pursuing excellence and creating meaningful impact,” she said.
The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Airwing, Nwogoh Martin, described the award as a reflection of the professionalism and innovation being promoted within the unit.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our officers and the increasing role of technology in modern policing.
“We congratulate CSP Omolere Adejoke on this achievement and encourage all personnel to continue serving with professionalism, discipline and integrity as we strengthen the operational capabilities of the Nigeria Police Force,” he said.
