President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has filed a defamation suit against the purported Director General of the disputed Presidential Foreign Promotion Council, Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi,
The suit, filed before a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, seeks N10 billion in general damages and N5 billion in aggravated damages over alleged defamatory claims.
Gbajabiamila is also seeking N200 million as the cost of the legal action and an order compelling Adeyemi to publish a full retraction and apology in five national newspapers.
