Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has received the documents for the house promised to members of Nigeria’s victorious 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) squad.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced the presentation on Monday via its official X account.
In photographs shared by the federation, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, accompanied by the federation’s Director of Competitions, Ruth David, presented the property documents to the goalkeeper.

The NFF had not confirmed at the time of filing this report whether the documents had also been presented to the other members of the title-winning squad.
Nigeria secured a record-extending 10th WAFCON title in 2024 after coming from two goals down to defeat hosts Morocco 3-2 in the final.
Following the victory, President Bola Tinubu announced rewards of $100,000 for each player, $50,000 for every member of the backroom staff and a house for each member of the squad.
Although the rewards were announced immediately after the triumph, the players had not publicly confirmed receiving the cash payments, while the housing documents had not been presented until Monday’s announcement by the NFF.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Shehu Dikko, revealed last weekend that the presentation had been timed to coincide with the team’s assembly for the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco, where the Super Falcons begin the defence of their title against Malawi on Tuesday.
“I am leaving Glasgow for Morocco this week to present keys to the houses, which His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, promised the Super Falcons after they won the last edition of the WAFCON. Even their $100,000 has been paid into their various bank accounts,” Dikko said.
“We decided to delay the presentation of the keys because we wanted a situation whereby the players would be together. I am sure it will boost their morale ahead of the 2026 WAFCON, which kicks off in Morocco in a few days.”
Dikko also said the players’ cash rewards had been paid into their respective bank accounts following the completion of the necessary administrative processes.
Nigeria enter the 2026 WAFCON as defending champions and record 10-time winners. The Super Falcons face debutants Malawi in their opening Group C fixture on Tuesday before taking on Zambia on 1 August and Egypt on 5 August.
The tournament, which runs from 26 July to 16 August in Morocco, also serves as Africa’s qualifying competition for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The four semi-finalists will qualify automatically, while one additional team will progress through the intercontinental play-offs.
