The late Nollywood actress, Temitope Osoba, popularly known as Tope Osoba, has been laid to rest in Ogun State.
The actress was buried on Thursday, 10 September 2026, at the Iperu Remo Cemetery in Ogun State, amid tears from family members, friends and colleagues.
A video from the burial ceremony showed mourners gathered as the remains of the actress were committed to the earth.
Among those who attended the ceremony were members of her family, friends and some Nollywood personalities, including Kunle Afod, Joke Jigan, Basira Badia and Foluke Daramola.
Tope Osoba died on 4 August 2026, with her death generating public concern over the circumstances surrounding her passing.
Her burial was initially scheduled for 13 August but was later postponed following public outcry over the circumstances surrounding her death.
Following allegations linking her lover, Prophet Itunu, to her death, the police reportedly arrested and detained him as investigations into the matter continued.
The actress has now been laid to rest as investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death remain a subject of public interest.
