Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, will on Monday present newly acquired operational vehicles to security agencies in the state as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s security architecture.
The presentation ceremony will take place at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti, with the vehicles to be formally handed over to the heads of the various security agencies.
The provision of the vehicles underscores the administration’s commitment to equipping security agencies with the logistics and operational support required to combat crime and criminality across the state.
The initiative forms part of the government’s sustained investment in the safety, welfare and overall wellbeing of residents under its Shared Prosperity agenda.
The administration said the latest intervention is aimed at further enhancing the capacity of security agencies to respond effectively to security challenges and maintain peace across Ekiti State.
