The Borno State House of Assembly has approved Governor Babagana Zulum’s request for 20 Special Advisers.
The lawmakers granted the approval on Thursday during the House’s valedictory session.
The motion to approve the request was moved by the House Leader, Hon. Dige Muhammad of Kalabalge, and seconded by Hon. Ayuba Steven Wakawa of Hawul State Constituency
In his valedictory speech, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abdulkarim Lawan thanked and commended the governor for the harmonious working relationship that existed between the legislature and the executive arm of the government
He listed the achievements of the ninth Assembly to include passage of over 150 resolutions, with 45 bills assented to.
