Abiodun appoints 6 former commissioners as special advisers

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Wednesday, announced six former commissioners as special advisers.

Last week, the state House of Assembly had approved the Governor’s request to appoint 20 special advisers.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, the new Special Advisers are Dapo Okubadejo as the Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor; Olaolu Olabimtan as Special Adviser on Budget and Planning; Jagunmolu Omoniyi as Special Adviser, Housing; Adebowale Akinsanya, Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure; Olusina Ogungbade, Special Adviser, Justice; and Dr. Tomi Coker, Special Adviser, Health.

According to the statement, the appointments take immediate effect.
