As his administration enters its third week, President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, appointed eight Special Advisers.
They included Mr. Dele Alake, who was named Special Adviser for Special Duties, Communications and Strategy. Alake served as Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy while Tinubu was the state governor between 1999 and 2007.
Others included former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, as Special Adviser on Security; and Mr. Wale Edun, who is Special Adviser on Monetary Policies. Like Alake, Edun also served in the same Tinubu cabinet in Lagos State as Commissioner for Finance.
According to a statement signed by the State House Director of Information, Mr. Abiodun Oladunjoye, also appointed were Malam Yau Darazo, Special Adviser Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser on Energy; Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser on Revenue; Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special Adviser on Industry, Trade and Investment; and Dr. (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.
