Famous Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze (popularly known as Aki) has taken to social media to warn fans sliding into his direct message, (DM) to beg for money.
The 45-year-old actor gave the warning in a viral video shared on his Instagram page.
Expressing his anger in the video, he said people have turned his DM into a bank of industry.
Aki said: “Guys, I dey vex. I’m not happy. This is getting out of hand. If I open my DM every time all I see is oga, bros, please. How can you people turn my DM to Bank of Industry?
“The way you people are begging is as if we don’t have responsibilities. If I start sharing the money like that, it will finish. Imagine someone begging me for $35,000, approximately N27 million. Another one was asking me for $12,000 he wants to open a shop.
“You guys have made it look like we packed this money somewhere and it is a must that we cater for your needs. No! It is not a must. This economic crunch is biting harder on everybody”.
