English midfielder, Declan Rice has revealed his ambitions at Arsenal following his record-breaking move to the club.
The Gunners reportedly signed the 24-year-old from West Ham for a club-record fee of £105 million.
Shortly after his unveiling as a new Arsenal player on Saturday, Rice said he wants to win the English Premier League (EPL) and UEFA Champions League (UCL) titles with the North London club.
Arsenal last won the EPL in the 2003-04 season and have never lifted the UCL.
According to Rice, he would not have joined Arsenal if he did not believe in winning titles with Mikel Arteta’s squad.
“My ambitions now are to win with Arsenal again. It’s time to go one step bigger and win the Premier League, win the Champions League, and I wouldn’t be here if I did not believe that”, he said.
The Gunners came close to winning the EPL last season but lost steam, finishing second behind Manchester City.
