Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has blamed the loss of concentration on the two points dropped by his side in their 2-2 draw with Fulham in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The Gunners seemed to be coasting to victory after goals from Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah cancelled out Andreas Pereira’s first minute strike.
However, Palhinha netted a late equalizer for the hosts, who had gone down to 10 men after Nigrian defender Calvin Bassey’s red card.
He told SkySport: “With all the effort that we made, the situations we generated, chance after chance, the attitude of the boys, the way the subs came on – then you go 2-1 up, with 10 men, the game is done.
“You give a ball away, you give a corner, you have to defend that box with your life if you want wins in the Premier League and we didn’t do that well enough”.
