Nigerian Singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman aka Oxlade had fired back at his senior colleague, Iyanya for tagging him as one who isn’t real and labelling his condolence to the late Mohbad as ‘fake’.

Reacting, the 26-year-old Oxlade called 36-year-old Iyanya a fool, adding that silence is not loud enough for his senior colleague and by extension, he would be live by 8 pm to speak up.

Oxlade said: “Sometimes silence is not loud enough for a fool to get the answer … 8 pm…..We go yarn…..”

This discussion arose from Oxlade’s viral post featuring his chat with the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely recognized as Mohbad.

In a picture posted on his social media page, Oxlade had restricted Mohbad’s chat. This action led many to question the authenticity of his affection for Mohbad.

Earlier, Iyanya had termed Oxlade’s love as fake and insincere, claiming that when people are acting disingenuous, they share screenshots of how they’ve blocked or restricted a decent person on social media

Referencing Oxlade, Iyanya reminded him of how he had previously cautioned him about his phoney love, predicting that one day, his true nature would become glaring.

He said: “When you are fake, you will post a screenshot of how you ‘Restricted’ a good guy on social media. I told you that one day the ‘fake’ in you would be televised”.

Oxlade later clarified why he restricted Mohbad in a post made on his X page (formerly known as Twitter).

He said: ” On this matter, I won’t be quiet…” How do you think people like me manage the DMs? We have teams. I restrict certain accounts to only me/my phone so only I can reply.
