The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday, 13 October, disclosed that President Bola Tinubu has approved the establishment of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in the FCT Administration.

Wike revealed this while briefing reporters in Abuja.

The minister also stated that the president had approved the establishment of a Woman Affairs secretariat in the FCT, which would be commissioned in the coming weeks.

He expressed displeasure that the nonexistence of the commission has made it impossible for directors in the FCTA to attain the position of Permanent Secretary.
