Precious Eze, owner of Precious Blog, the popular writer, blogger and content producer, was reportedly arrested at his Lagos residence by a Special Force from Abuja on Tuesday, 12th December at 1:24 am, according to his cousin who lives with him.
He is said to have been whisked away from his Lagos base to Abuja, and held incommunicado.
The operation was said to have been executed by a combined team of the Department of Security (DSS) Services, the Police and the military.
His cousin, Emeka Preshneze recounted his arrest: “He was arrested at his residence by Special Forces from Abuja on Tuesday, 12th of December, 2023, at 1.24am”.
He said security agents gave no indication of who sent them and what offence the blogger committed to warrant his arrest.
“I have been making efforts to trace where he could be but to no avail”, Preshneze lamented, while appealing to “the security agencies, including the DSS, the Police and the military” to produce his cousin “because they were ones that came for his arrest”.
