Edun, Adelabu to discuss Tinubu’s scorecard at policy roundtable Tuesday

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Forum is marking the first anniversary of the Tinubu administration with a Policy Roundtable on the economy. The first edition of the Asiwaju Scorecard Series will hold on Tuesday, 21 May at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, starting by 9 am.

Each of the programme’s two sessions will have as speaker the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun; and his counterpart in the Ministry of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

With the theme, “State of the Nigerian Economy and Tinubunomics (Economic) Plan”, Edun’s session of the Policy Roundtable will have as panelists the President Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Gabriel Idahosa; economist and public policy expert, Mr. Aminu Nyako; and President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Prof. Pius Olanrewaju.

The moderator will be a former Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Nkem Okeke.

The other session will be discussing “Enhancing the Power Sector for Economic Growth”. To discuss the topic with Adelabu are the Special Adviser to the President on Energy, Mrs. Olu Arowolo Verheijen; Director General of the Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria, Mr. Segun Ajayi Kadir; and Executive Director of the Association of Nigerian Electricity Distributors, Mr. Sunday Oduntan; and energy entrepreneur, Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim.
